On Wednesday, July 16th, The Loan Fund held a breakfast as a kickoff event to celebrate our 25th anniversary at La Fonda Del Bosque in the National Hispanic Cultural Center. There were close 100 people in attendance. Attendees included many of The Loan Fund’s staff, Board, clients, funders, and community partners. The Loan Fund showed support for its clients by handing out gift bags to attendees filled with client-produced products, such as coffee, chocolate, honey and salsa.
Over the last 25 years, The Loan Fund, a nonprofit community lending organization, has provided over $56 million in loans to small businesses and nonprofit organizations across New Mexico that were unable to obtain financing through traditional lending sources. These loans have helped create or preserve over 7,500 jobs in the state.
