Thursday, December 28th, 2017 marked Norma Valdez’s last day with The Loan Fund. Norma’s family surprised her with balloons, flowers, and treats to celebrate her retirement.Over the last 21 years, Norma helped New Mexico’s small businesses and nonprofits close and far. Her loans truly improved communities statewide. Additionally, Norma helped many low-income families become middle and even upper-middle-income families.
Norma believed in The Loan Fund’s mission and the hundreds of hardworking individuals she invested in.We wish Norma the best in her next chapter and thank her for making New Mexico a better place.
