DUB-L-EE

by Loan Fund Staff
Dub-L-EEteam

Dub-L-EE LLC & Exotic Blooms LLC

It was nearly 10 years ago when Edward Saiz and his son, Eddie J. Saiz, created DUB-L-EE LLC, an Albuquerque general company that has been doubling revenue yearly.  Eddie, a certified plumber, and his father who has 40 years experience in plumbing decided to pull together to create the business after Eddie was laid off from his job.

Since incorporating in 2012, DUB-L-EE LLC has grown from two employees to 50 full-time and one part-time employee. They have obtained contracts with Bradbury and Stamm, New Mexico Gas Company, the Army Corps of Engineers and VA Hospital Plumbing, estimating a worth of $6.5 million.

Their success comes after the elder Saiz and his wife had financial hardships and began paying off several revolving accounts. Since then, DUB-L-EE LLC has received SBA 8(A) certification and successfully paid off four loans from The Loan Fund ranging from $10,000 to $30,000, illustrating significant growth in their industry. Their success can also be credited to the unique management dynamics that the father and son bring to the family business.

A new recent line of credit will allow DUB-L-EE LLC to expand its bonding capacity, which is required on large contracts.  Access to capital will allow for a larger limit.
